Post subject: | Humidity control |
Hi I know that there are numerous articles on this subject already but I am looking for some advice from a fellow Brit. I was born in Glasgow and brought up in Kilmarnock but have lived just outside Bristol since 1986. It is just as wet here as the west coast of Scotland and humidity in my garage/workshop is usually in the range 60% to 90% most of the year. How do you control humidity levels in your workshop, what equipment/set-up do you use and how expensive is it to run? I am thinking about building a small insulated cabinet with a dehumidifier in it to do the humidity dependent glue ups like braces and closing the box but would welcome any input you would be willing to share. Kind regards, Bob Orr |

PM reply sent, been away, sorry. Your cabinet idea, as long as vapour proofed, would work. Domestic dehumidifer I use is fine for a 12x12. What size you thinking? |
