Hi Folks,
One of our fellow OLF'ers Daniel Petrzelka has been working on some graphic changes and updates for the OLF. One of the things that we tried to implement yesterday was a new FAVICON.
Here is what it looks like.

It is working for me in Chrome and IE.
If you can see it in your browser address bar please let me know here.

It doesn't show in my Chrome address bar. I also received a post in my Facebook news feed about this and in that post the image is just a black box.

Hmm
It was odd, I uploaded it yesterday and could not get it to work.
Then today it just started working. Im not sure exactly how this thing works...

I does show up on the address bar in Explorer on my laptop.
Still not in the Chrome address bar for me, but it does show on the Chrome page tab at the top of the browser window.

If it's not showing up then it's most likely because it's in your browser cache. If you clear the cache and restart you probably will see it.

Agreed. That should put it in your window tab (or equivalent). To see it in your bookmarks bar (or equivalent) you may need to delete your existing bookmark and create a new one.

OK, so maybe I am a Luddite. What in the world is a favicon, and what purpose does it serve?? And where would I look for it...have not a clue.
