I have a Mini Mite 4, and I'm in the market for a new gun. My old one has an H4 air cap. But I see that their standard issue gun is equipped with an H3 cap, and it's also rated for nitro. Is anyone else here shooting nitro through a Fuji HVLP spray system? If so, which size air cap are you using--H3 or H4?

I spray with an older Fuji system. It came with an H3 but since I've changed to an H4 and seem to get better results.

We have the Fuji four stage turbine and have used the XPC and T-75G guns for lacquer and waterbased finishes. The 1.3mm aircap/needle set for the T-75G does a nice job on lacquer - on par with the Iwata and SATA conversion guns in the shop. While the 1.3mm set will spray waterbased, the 1.0mm does a better job atomizing finishes like Enduro-Var. All stainless fluid passages, etc. The T-75G runs about $319 via Amazon Prime. If converting to the PPS system, the #2 adaptor works (same as Iwata full-sized guns use).

FWIW, there is a recent discussion on Fuji HVLP systems and guns on MIMF Forum this week. You might want to check it out.

Mine came with a 4 but I changed to a 3 and feel I get better results with Mohawk stringed instrument lacquer, but of course, YMMV.
