I bought a bunch of precut Abalam strips here off Lance a while back. I used them mostly for back strips and they worked well. Has anyone ever tried cutting Abalam on a table saw? I would use a fretting blade with zero clearance insert and fence and of course appropriate dust protection. This http://www.ebay.com/itm/Abalam-Guitar-I ... Swo6lWFriN is the product. Thanks! |

I would expect that to work ok. At my last gig, it was cut with teeny tiny endmills on the CNC. |

In fact, Lance has a video floating around somewhere of his cutting setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

NO DO NOT DO THAT you will ruin a lot and may get hurt. that is not how you cut pearl . Even the fretting blade will blow this apart. |

that video shows a safer way to do this. the dremel tool will help and it is all about the blade you use |
