Post subject:  My most complex inlay to date!

I've really started to enjoy the inlay process and have been trying to step up my game as of late. This particular one was made from a photo I found of a sea turtle that I then I then traced, scaned, and shrunk down to make my pattern from. It took me almost 12 hours to make and consists of almost 100 pieces. I'll be inlaying it tomorrow on a very special guitar that I'll be posting here once it's complete. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Twelve hours doesn't seem too bad, I would have expected longer.

It really looks great

Very nice! I could have spent 12 hours per piece and not come even close.
