| Post subject: | How much to thin IRW for a cutaway? |
Normally I thickness IRW sides to around 2mm for bending. I'm looking to bend IRW sides in a side bender, then do a Venetian cutaway (the rounded one) by hand on a pipe bender What should I thin it to for the cutaway part? |

With EIR .075 - .078" will work fine spritz with water and use a backing slat. About 250 degees plus yields good results |

With my side at 2 mm starting just above the waist curve to the end of the side, I thin to 1.8 mm (.07) with a scraper. |
