I finally bit the bullet and bought the gun.......

Waiting for it in the mail- feels like Christmas....

You'll enjoy it, Brad. One of the guys in the maker space I belong to does auto body on the side and drools over my Iwata. I joke that it's pearls before swine because I only ordered the gun Joe White suggested to me a decade ago when I asked for his advice. I never knew the difference having a nice gun made until my friend at the maker space had me set up his entry-level gun to see the difference in the quality of the spray fan, etc.

Congrats Brad! I have a Walcom Genesi Geo and I can attest to the fact that a good gun can make a world of difference. Mind you, I had to hone my skills a bit before the difference became evident, but you'll never regret buying a quality item.

Not new by a long shot.........but just back from spray gun guru Paul Masters with a clean bill of health my trusty Sata Minijet 4, 1mm tip :mrgreen:

Yes, I have been spraying guitars for over 40 years with crappy to medium grade guns so I am sure it will help in my process.
