For the busy luthier - sand the rims while mashing potatoes. ![]() My Brother gave me a food processor he had when he was stationed in Germany. It runs on 220v, so is a bit less handy Stateside. I popped the beaters off and drilled a couple of holes in the attachment so I could screw on a radius dish. It has 3 speeds and runs more smoothly (and slower) than the bowling ball balancer mod. |

The first thing I used it for was flattening the rim of a corian sink. Even at the highest speed it ran smoothly. It can still be used as a food processor (but I don't think that will ever happen ![]() |

The wife says it/s a german kitchen aid or stand mixer ??? a lot more $$$ or an an electric stand mixer with a heavier bowl ??. Clueless in KC. Very clever idea if it works . |

Hi Ernie, It's a German food processor. It has an attachment to slice and dice things as well as the mixing bowl. I haven't figured out any lutherie use for that yet. At one time it had a blender and the coupling shaft on the right runs at a higher RPM. |

That's a great mixer. Gave away my Kitchenaid after I got mine. Not great for smaller quantities though. |
