My awesome blanket from Blues Creek made a big spark the other day and blew the breakers. Scared me a bit. I guess I knew this day was coming. Ever since I decided to put blanket on top of slats instead of between. I have been super pleased with the results. But now I think I need a new blanket. Is there a technique to avoid rubbing the silicone off? Mike |

Well, yeah, I thought of that. Can I get a thinner one? And has anyone done that? |

I have used a thin sheet of aluminum flashing on top of the blanket to guard against this. I don't think I've used it the last few times, maybe it's time to start again ![]() Kent |

Well maybe. Unless u like fireworks during sidebendng. I'll try the flashing idea. The idea of adding another stainless slat bothers me. Force wise. |

Don't worry about the sparks, there are plenty in there. Its the smoke you need to worry about. Once you let it out, you can't put it back in. Sorry, my smart*ss is acting up again. B |
