I've very pleased to say that my weak attempt at marketing, with a Facebook page, is doing quite well. The FB sales team has compared the number of likes from my page to a some bagpipe page and I am doing considerably better than them. Go me!!! laughing6-hehe

You should optimize the synergies by cobranding in social media through pop-up events that monetize relationship building technologies among key demographics for...

Aw heck! I almost pulled it off! If I could just have found a way to add in the word "SEO" I would have been golden.

Hahaha. You guys are too funny! I'll tell you one thing. I'm sure glad I chose guitars over bagpipes. Must be a very tough demograpic.

Enjoy The Day

Where I have found Facebook to be valuable is in documenting the build process. You can snap a few pics at any point with your phone, put them on your site with a few notes, then go back and reference it at any point. I hesitate putting this out here like this but... https://www.facebook.com/cbcguitars/

A friend of mine is a piper. I'll ask him if he can do Purple Haze, and send me a video.

I do the same thing but use Google Plus. Since my Android phone automatically posts to Google cloud. But yeah photo albums are great ways to document building and especially for commissions where a client can follow along.

I'll tell you a little bit about an experience that showed me the power of social media Kerry. I had a guitar that I shipped , Powell River to Kelowna, since you're a BC boy. It didn't show up in a timely manner and I contacted Canada Post. I spoke to some arrogant, unsympathetic guy back East (Easterners eh. The guy must not have done his morning prayer to the God of Birkenstock  ) who told me it was likely stolen. That got me going and I started with FB. Not sure if this link will work. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php? ... 945111118.. I have about 100 FB friends and have sent out a total of 4 friend requests. Check out how this one got around. 53,662 people reached and 818 shares! I think I'm going to loose one every year...... right after my annual "Going Out Of Business" sale.

Like you, I'm happy to build and sell 2 - 5 a year. I don't want to make it a job and ruin the fun. Anything to get you out there helps.
