I love this thing! I know it's a little decadent. It'll cut tape from 5-999mm with the push of a button or put it on auto and a new piece appears when the current hunk is removed. $120.00 including shipping isn't too bad either.

Evilbay. I offered them $120 and they took it.

This seems like a ridiculous, over the top tool, until you own one. I found one at an estate sale. I had no idea what it was, but it had tape sticking out of it and looked interesting. Bought it for $25.00. I got it home, looked it up on Amazon, and was astonished to find that my model cost over $500.00. I've had it on the bench for 6 months and still have not gotten used to remembering to use it. I frequently pull out the old roles of tape and tear them off. However, I'm getting better at using it. You can put all different kinds and sizes of tape on it. It really excels at jobs that involve glue and tape. It can be programmed to dispense and cut tape to length at the push of a button. If it broke, I'd buy a new one, the cheaper model that Michael did, without blinking. A really cool tool IMHO. Wish I had it many years ago.

This is NOT my photo, but one I saw on a FB group. This guy made a tape dispenser with a plane blade pointing upward to cut the tape. What could possibly go wrong? I love his determined commitment to get the job done at all costs.
