It’s funny that you posted this, I just finished this house warming gift for my daughter and her new roommate. It’s not a guitar reject but rather a purpose built shelf. The oak sides were bent at .140” and the “top” was laminated with Padauk and installed inside the sides so they are not visible on the outside. The sound hole will get a photograph, too.
