Hey guys, bought a used side bending jig that came with these slats. I'm bending a cutaway. Would you use these slats? They're a bit wavy. Would you get new ones... Those look like LMII stainless steel slats. Spring steel is so much better. |

I straighten mine out and reuse them. No issues for me, just a bit of futzin’. B |

I use spring steel for my non- cutaway guitars and stainless steel for the cutaways. I press the stainless between two flat boards and clamp to straighten them. Still a bit of wave but comes out as I bend - Mike G |
