It’s always a good day when a guitar-builder-pal shows up!

Today, J De Rocher came over to check out the new space and talk about looferin. We got to play some music, talk about current projects, play with some interesting tools, and then head into town for lunch and a beer (or was it the other way around).

Anyway, it was a pleasure hangin out!

Cheers!

A great visit indeed. I enjoyed it very much. The new shop is pretty amazing. Lots of workshop space in two large rooms and nicely organized and very well equipped. (Envious)

I got to check out the guitar Michael completed recently and posted in this thread: https://www.luthiersforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10101&t=52348
Beautiful guitar, every bit as nice as it looks in the photos and it sounds every bit as good as it looks. Super responsive with a clear balanced sound with lots of sustain. It's no surprise that four of his guitars went to new homes in the past month.

Looking forward to a return visit.

I hated to leave the last one for sure. The new one is bigger, but still not big enough to get sucked back into custom cabinet building.
