Pretty little 28ish Gibson L-1 body shape.
Spruce
Sapelle
Rosewood
Sounds really nice imo and plays great for the first setup.
Tomorrow or the next day I’ll recheck and readjust things:)
My workmanship isn’t NEAR what it is with some of you guys but I hope to at least catch a glimpse of it one day:) this is #14:)
Here are some pics of course!!!

You're lightyears ahead of where I was at #14 even with a daily backdrop, so just jeep plugging away...

I don’t know man.... guitar pics are like instagram pics... filters help haha
:)
However it does play good:) I’m finally reaching a beginners competency of setup (which I dreaded before)
I made some stupid mistakes in this one (which I can say for every one ha) but at least they weren’t the same stupid mistakes!

If you knew the near fatal error on the redwood SJ you'd have a laugh...

Beautiful, just right on the bling while retaining the vib of a working musicians primary ax. You knocked it out of the park my friend.

Beautiful!

All things are relative, I guess. I’m working hard to attain something close to your level of workmanship. It looks great.

Looks good Snow. Is that some sort of optical illusion on the end graft in that pic or did you do something creative there?

So the end graft is 2 wide. Rosewood on The outside and a strip of the back in the middle. The lower bout is so round that I had trouble bending a wedge to the shape so I had to create strips, like hardwood flooring, to gently follow the curve.
The reason why is because one of my sides was cut too short to carry ya the middle of the block! (Who did that?!?!), so I had to cover the gap w a wider strip:/ let’s call it a feature:)

Nice work. I've made a couple of that L1 shape. Very nice sounding guitars

Aaron!!!! This is one of your sets:) Actually;) fantastic wood. It can get a little tricky to work because of the grain, but overall really a great set!!!

I ended up w what I describe as a small dred sound. Interesting that it sounds as full as it does (not loud)... just nice and round. I was pleased
