| Post subject: | Source for Martin style T bar for truss rod. |
Anyone have a source for 1/2" steel t bar for neck reinforcement. They used to be sold as sled runners, but sled runners have a different shape now. The steel in the t bar is a hair under 3/32" thick, (.095 I think), and 1/2" X 1/2". Is Martin still using them in the Authentics? |

Pretty sure Japarts here in Vancouver can set you up. He gave me one a few years back but I don't trust non adjustable trusses... |

They show them on their website, so I ordered some, paid for them, and just got this email: I've just refunded your payment. Interesting. I just measured the rout in an Authentic neck and it was 0.400" tall. |

they fit a martin neck perfectly. I am an authorized martin shop and got them to fit necks from Martin. |

just measured .5 wide .4 deep trusted memory at my age not a good thing |
