Hi all, sorry that I've been quiet for so long. Life has been busy!

Here's a Tenor guitar that I've built for a customer in Nth QLD. It is made from a new plan that I've made based on a mid 50's Harmony style Tenor. I'm happy to share the plan if people are interested. It has both Falcate and X-brace options on the plan.

Australian Red Cedar soundboard (33' radius)
Ebony back and sides (12' radius)
Fijian Mahogany neck
Ebony fingerboard (12" radius)
Maple bindings
Falcate bracing
Ebony bridge
Ebony pins

I love it! I love a tenor guitar too. I built only one and it was for myself and the thing is jsut so fun to play. Such a sweet tone they have. That soundboard looks awesome too I've never seen that wood before.

Nicely done. Classic design-that's a Beauty!
Thank you for sharing the plans.
I've built some short scale 8 string (octave pairs) tenors - they seem to be a hit with the Irish music crowd.

I love this. What’s the finish?

I’m building a first baritone uke but I have my sights on one of these soon.

Thanks, it is Danish Oil (Rustins) with a hand applied wax over the top.

Excellent execution, and great pictures!
Wish I had your plans for the one I built on a commission last year, thanks for posting these!
I used the Collings Tenor 1 specs as a guideline, turned out really well...
