Anybody been? Anybody going?

https://www.galloupguitars.com/galloup- ... -seminars/

There's a FB page with more info on this year's schedule, too.
https://www.facebook.com/NorthwoodsSeminar

Same week as the Fretboard Summit but scheduled not to overlap.
I've got a hall pass for the Fretboard Summit; not sure I can get a hall pass for the whole week.

Search function is super helpful, DOH.

So amend those questions to, who's going this year?

I went to the last one and will mull it over and maybe go this time again. That is if there is a slot available after my procrastination. :)

It’s worth the money, IMO. I learned a lot and made good connections last time.

Northwoods is a great opportunity to be exposed to lots of folks who work In the trade and in many if not most cases avoid forums... These are the people who drive our industry and push envelopes and in many cases the inventors of many of the tools and methods that we ultimately benefit from.

The top names in repair and building as well as the commercial side of Lutherie and the academic side of the trade will all be represented. It is not a beginner building gathering.

In the past it was invitation only but more recently they are letting anyone in.

I may go for a day since we are still busy as can be. Dave usually goes and he's presented there in the past too, the glue presentation...

I have some friends that I owe a drink or 5 so I hope to go this year.

Didn't see who's performing this time but in the past they had some great ones including Hot Rod Lincoln and yes Bill is a client of ours too.

Looks like I'm going for an afternoon not wanting to be gone more than that. I received an invite yesterday from Bryan through Dave so I am looking forward to it.
