Try reducing the tenon to 3/4"...it works fine and reduces the thickness of the end block a bit. This is from experience on 50+ M&T (Cumpiano style) guitars. Remember, you are not torquing the neck into position with the bolts, merely holding it in a fine fitting joint. |
