Hi, I'm a guitar nut, and I got my wife to put together a cruise group featuring guitar builders Michael Millard, Thomas Humphrey, and Michael Gurian. We're still trying to get the word out, so the cruise will fill and we can make Luthiers' Cruises a regular event. We have an ad at p. 119 of the current edition of Fretboard Journal, and further information at WanderHappy.com (click on Luthiers' Cruise) and at LuthiersCruise.com. Sorry to plug the forum with something that smacks of commercialism, but I view these guys as artists, and it would be a crime not to let the Official Luthiers Forum know of this event. Oh, and the cruise is going to be spectacular -- Alaska in August!!! Now, back to your regularly-scheduled discussion about saddle height the relative merits of zero-frets .... |
