folks, the saga of the olf guitar is a very sad one.

i, for one, do not wish to see it repeated on this build. can those of us who have made a committment to do work/contribute materials on this build make a public committment posted here, upon receiving the precursor stage(s), to complete our portion in a finite period, that is by a end of a set period or by a specific date. and further, upon encountering any factor which may delay completion by the commited time, further post the reasons for the delay and a revised time for completion.

then, when each of our designated tasks is complete, post the date of completion and onshipment of the project or its component to the next one in line.

hopefully this will not only encourage us to be responsible and prompt in meeting our committments, but also foster a sense of anticipation as we note the progress being achieved and the approach of our turn to do our bit. plus it will allow the work to be programmed into our build schedules.

Michael, that's exactly what the Excel matrix I'm working on will help us do. Thanks for spelling it out in plain English for me.
