I just watched David Lee Roth on "The View"! He once again played Jump, entirely unrepentant! DLR said that he studied as a EMT and used to go on calls! Could you imagine, laying dying in the street and having DLR rid'in up on ya in the ambulance!

I done died, and went to hell, and the devil looks like Diamond Dave?

Uhh! Did I just say I watched the View?? NO! NO! ah! NO! That wasn't it... er... I had a friend tell me .. Yeh! That was it... A friend told me!

Did you ever see that SNL skit from a million years ago where a guy won a contest to tour with DLR? It was hilarious, they would film the guy and he would be holding up signs that say "Help me" and stuff like that.

I still laugh out loud thinking about it.... you know it would be exactly like that too.

:-)

Do you think he was still wearing the spandex when he was saving life's? Sammy hagar went out and did a tour a few years back with him and he said never again. He said he had to restrain himself from kicking the **** out of him. LanceK38884.278900463

Wish I would of seen that!!!

My Buddy went to his Dad, who was a Doctor in Orange county, and asked if he knew him, as a joke because he didn't believe that he was his Dad.

Dr. Roth only said "Auugh... that common referenced orofice"(term used as an approximation)! That was all he said! That seems pretty rough! Poor David!

Van Halen used to play at a club about a mile from where I live, called "The Shangrala", it was a real dump! They stunk, was all I heard, then all of a sudden Eddie buckled down and they just took off! It was like over night!

I didn't realize that I had a lot of run-in's with Van Halen, et al, but Eddie used to go to a high school close to me, as I have heard, and Anthony still lives about 3 mile from me, as just I heard tonight. Billy T38884.5950115741

As I understand it Gene Simmons (from Kiss) found VH in a bar (probably the one you are talking about) and helped them get a record deal etc.

I heard just recently it was a bar in Pasadena they only played here a few times. I heard that Simmons was involved with them also, but it fell through!

I keep running into people that have all these run-ins with the rock-n-roll great and near great. One begins to disbelieve a lot of this but when one lives in L.A. your pretty close to the heart of the beast!

For example, Nicky Six was purported to go to Charter Oak High school which is the school I would of went too if it wasn't so overloaded.

I wasn't really a big fan of Motley Crue or Van halen. I've only bought one VH album.

Whether or not he becomes a Rock great is to be seen, but I went to high
school with none other than Kevin Federline.

I wouldn't brag about that.
He doesn't want to be a rock great. he wants to be the great white rapper. I heard a track and all he did was sing about how he loves big butt's. Kinda like all other rap song's.

Ted Nugent once looked at me. Oh, and I went to high school with Del Shannon's cousin.
