Chris, thanks for sharing! how tight a curve can the abalam strips take? can they curve enough without breaking to make the waist area, or do you use shorter strips?

They break all the time when doing the top purfs. The distance between the breaks depends on the radius. How tight a curve before it's noticable? Depends on the width of the strips and the curve. I wouldn't use straight strips for a rosette as curved pieces would work better and curved pieces also for cutaways. I don't like to use much over 1/16" wide strips for purfs as it gets hard to break the pieces and the breaks become more noticable. When doing a wide rosette it's time to begin to cut them to fit. At least that's how I do it.

Chris, can you tell us the saw model you are using and what type?

Also, can you discuss the type of blade this is in the saw? TIA.

Enjoyed the simplicity of cutting the strips from veneer, nice.

Thanks for making the videos. Is this guitar totally inlaid now? [clap]

Chris, your link to the third video didn't pop up so here it is again.

"This is for JJ, right here," Chris chuckles as the music comes up.

Nice touch Chris.
