Well, I did not come up with this, but it sure does work. I was able to get mine within a few thousandths on either side in less than 10 minutes. I built mine with a AA battery and a Christmas tree light bulb. http://www.joewoodworker.com/performax.htm Mike |

I was just heading out the door to get my nylon nuts and lock washers when I saw this post--was hoping for a video! Are you using the Performax? |

I finally got mine done--the hardest part was rigging the danged bulb up. Ace didn't have any alligator clips, but I finally used some magnetic fridge clips (I also used an xmas tree bulb, but with a 9 volt). Bonus was the magnets would hold the clips down through the conveyor belt, so they wouldn't move (much), and they were insulated, so the device functioned properly. My Perfomax 16/32 is performaxing much better than it did. Still not perfect. Gonna do it again soon, while I still have the process down. |
