I have tried a couple diffrent ways to do this and have decided that the ideas ive seen along this lines would be the easiest . I made the plywood jig the same "roughly" size as the guitar bodies I normaly build . I then made the plywood ring and glued and routered the relief. A wole lotta drywall screws , some poly tubing cut to size and I think we are ready to mount the Bindings .

Looks great Wud! Building this sort of jig and switching to rubberbands made my stress level go way down on binding.
