Here is something that might be of interest to the advanced kit builder who would like to concentrate on the classical guitar:

That looks like a pretty nice kit. Do you know the seller?

I know rhe seller "Steve K" and he is a good friend and from what John has said, a mentor to John Hall. He is an excellent luthier. He doesn't participate in the forum's much if at all. I bought my rig (press) to attach tops and backs to rims from him, plus some materials. Although never bought a kit from him, I can say without reservation, If he says it, you can take it to the bank. He is a man of his word. He I think has participated in the various shows like Healdsburg etc.

Thanks Stan for the kind words about my kits and my work. That kit was unusual and very cool, you're not likely to see another like it. Though I do offer standard mahogany and rosewood kits in the popular D and 000 14 fret configurations I am always much more interested in generating and selling unusual and sometimes unique kits when the available parts allow me to do so. I've offered a lot of interesting stuff that you don't find available through any other seller over the years like Ditson style kits and other archaic sizes, styles or configurations.
