I've been working away on the guitar I'm making for my daughter and I'm really pleased with the way it is turning out. (Yes, I'm knocking wood.) Almost screwed up a of couple times, but listened to that little voice in my head saying, "Slow down!" and managed to avert any real problems. (Yes, my fingers are crossed.) Just finished setting the neck angle and as far as I can tell it is just about perfect.

It won't have a finish on it come Christmas morning, but it will be under the tree anyway and I know one young lady who's going to be very surprised.

This is an 0-sized, 24.9" scale, 12-fretter, with Sitka top, EI rosewood back and sides, ebony board and bridge.

Here's the front:

End graft (Yup, it's upside down. Oh, well...):

And a special thanks to Hesh, as his excellent tutorial on setting a neck helped me dial this in nicely. Here's to you my friend!

Thanks for the compliments! This is a super-fun hobby for me. I'm actually kind of glad it won't be completely finished by Christmas. This way I can work with my daughter to create a custom headstock inlay and shape the neck profile specifically to her hand.
