I am Almost ready to cut the scarf joint and was curious which saw was better for this joint. I have a new sears mitre/chop saw or a nice lynx tenon saw.

Thank you,
Devin

After much experiment I use a 5/8 fine blade in my bandsaw with a homemade jig

John,
I ended up trying several methods. I also messed up the neck blank twice, though unrelated to how I cut it, so I have received some practice cutting them. lol

I dont use a fine blade, but a jig and my bandsaw, make this a painless process. I remove saw marks with 80 grit and then finish it with some 220. I just need more wood now. (c:
