Hi, I'm starting a diy lap steel guitar project inspired in the Duesenberg Fairytale lap steel guitar design. As a newcomer to the diy world i would like to get some advices regarding what colours should i use to achieve a gold burst effect on a 1 piece mahogany wood. I'm thinking about going for a tru-oil finish after.... Thank you in advance for your replies |

Gold burst?? You cannot make the mahogany any lighter than it is so you are locked in to a reddish brown background for a burst. |
