Hello!

I thought i might share some pictures of my first build that i completed a few months ago.
I'm currently working on three more guitars.
I didn´t document the process that well but i hope you enjoy the few pictures i upload anyway!
I´ll upload some more pictures of the finished guitar if you guys want to!

Working on the bracing in my apartment

Thicknessed top, i was stupid enough to cut the soundhole before i did the rosette, but i managed to align it anyway.

Thicknessed back

EIR rosette made of scrap from the back

Another one on the rosette.

Working some more on the bracing
Image
Almost finished top, i scalloped the braces a bit more.

Hanging on the wall, a few pieces missing :)

Shaping the headstock and volute

Sides bent and blocks glued
Image
Top glued, chipped a little when i trimmed it but no worries.

Saying goodbye to the inside!
Image
Back glued
Image
Jumping forward a little bit, just installed the flamed maple binding.
Image
And ebony in the back
Image
i just couldnt resist giving the back a few layers of shellac.
Image
Made the dovetail with a handsaw and chisels
Image
A few more layers and it´s done
Image
Installed frets, a little cleaning and polishing left
Image
And here she is!

Here´s a youtube clip of my friend Fredrik Lundman trying it out. He wanted to trade it for his Martin D-35 Johnny Cash, haha.
I shot the video with my phone so the quality is really bad, but better than nothing i guess.
