Here's what's underway so far:
A new model - sort of - this is my quatre model (0000) with the mold sleeved down 1" overall, so it is now a 15" lower bout. 13 frets clear, my new "tweener" scale of 25.23", materials breakdown and costs below.

2A grade Lutz top $14
Lumberyard leftover Maple B/S .875 B.F @ 7.5 = $6.56
Lumberyard leftover Maple Neck 1.75 B.F. @ $8.00 = $14
Misc Lumberyard Sitka for bracing 1 B.F. @ $7 = $7
1 Beauguard materials for binding, pickguard and headstock (incl inlay) $20
1 Truss rod $14
1 Fretwire ? (never calculated this out before)
1 Piece re-claimed Nara flooring for fingerboard and bridge $4
1 Finish materials ( shellac sealer, gel poly varnish is the plan) $7
Misc kerfing and blocks $10
Tuners TBD....

If I can scare up a set of tuners for $10 and a burlap sac for a gig bag it'll come in right around $100.....

Interesting profile on the X braces. Figure $4 to $6 for the frets depending on the quantity you purchase.
I like how you charged yourself for your own binding and inlay material.

Box closed. When the other 3 underway are caught up I'll start neckin' 'em.

Necks fit on the 2 Quatres, but the 2 Freestyles are waiting for some re-engineering of their neck joints.
I could have pushed the Petit forward, but I'd rather retain the efficiency of the batch and move them through the shop together. They'll all be done sometime in January.
If you want to see it you'll have to visit me at the Healdsburg Guitar Festival. One of my resolutions for the new year is to spend less times on forums, so I'll be signing off from this one. Best of luck to you all on the competition and all your guitar building adventures.
