) Neck goo-ed on with HHG, Tuners installed, Bridge made and goo-ed on with 315 gram HHG (probably pull off by next Wednesday 
) Should have strings by tomorrow

Tony, thanks! Steve you can get your hands on this one next week. I'm still really aggravated at myself/the failed sunburst. It is sounding nice for being strung up two hours, amazing bass for such a small guitar, very bright with good sustain. Plus my 13 year old likes it

Thanks, but these guitars are #2 & #3 Top looks good from 5 feet, and the back and sides are spectacular, some of Ted Davis's stash/cull's actually. And I really like the 13 fret sound, although I'm so used to 14 fret guitars and electrics I'm off a fret here and there The lesson's learned are worth all the pain and suffering I can build a nice sounding and great playing instrument getting the fit and finish perfect will come with time.

I got a chance to spend some time with both guitars at our last E. TN Luthier meeting and they both play and sound great. I wasn't the only one that wanted to bring the little one home, it's just the kind of instrument that makes you want to curl up for an hour or two on the back porch and pick. |
