Hey all,
I'm working on a Leo Jaymz electric guitar. The headstock and part of the neck was broken off and gone. I had to make a replacement and put it back together with a scarf joint.
I'm working on the finish now but I don't know if it is polyurethane or an epoxy finish or some other weird stuff.
So I'm wondering if any of you know. If you can help me I would very much appreciate it.
I didn't think about asking on here until I already started painting it so I don't have any pictures. I can take some from this point on if you would like.

Rick these are super cheap kits so if it was assembled and finished when you received it it was done by a hobbyist and there is no telling what big box store stuff they used to finish it. Could be anything.

You can do some tests on scrap, that's how we always inform ourselves when we don't know.
