I am reassembling a late '30's Washburn. It is in too many pieces to be collectable, but a fun project. The sound hole had a ring and binding, but the binding is long gone and only pieces of the ring remained. I expanded the sound hole just enough to get it round again, and rebound it. I'd like to add a ring, maybe a couple while I am at it. Anyone have tips for cutting the ring channel and getting it true to the sound hole when the sound hole is already cut? Thanks.
GS

Make a "removable plug" to fit the existing sound hole and route away.
