Post subject:  Another first for me
Picked up a McCarty PRS today for a restring and setup. Imagine my surprise when I opened the case, and found that the flame maple top had been stripped, and the entire top covered in a sea foam green CRAYON. I mean, the owner used the whole crayon. It was just rubbed on in layers. When I was done working on the guitar, my entire bench was covered in little green waxy flakes. I should call it the Binney & Smith Special....

Can ANYONE see the picture? I can't seem to post a stinking pic here from my PC, or from PhotoBucket - it's just won't do it. What the blazes is going on with this place?

There's the test for shellac as miracle sealer. I wonder how many of the players shirts have a sea foam forearm.

Unbelievable! Especially for a PRS owner. Just the idea of touching that thing creeps me out. I suppose sea foam green sharpies are hard to come by though.

Call me crazy but, I think it looks cool. Maybe a spray coat of shellac over it would preserve it.

Maybe he was gonna tie-dye it but couldn't find the paraffin wax. idunno
