I know this is not ideal but I will be visiting a friend in PEI next week (flying). He generally just plays in the first position and a bit up to the 7th fret and I thought about checking for high frets & maybe adjusting the nut slots.
Any thoughts

OK - here's the usual rundown.

Tune the guitar to whatever pitch the client wants.
Adjust the truss rod for proper relief (barely any).
Capo at first fret.
Set string height at bridge.
Remove capo, and set string height at nut.
DONE. Play madly until the strings break.

For true fret work, you'll need all the usual tools and a place to do the job right.
