I made a mistake and damaged the finish with a screw from a jig when I was going to route a saddle slot
The damage has passed through the finish into the wood. I tried filling with super glue but it stained the wood. Is there anything that can make the damage a little less visible. Does anyone have any suggestions??

OP, I'm sorry this mess is in front of you. My opinion, and it's just an opinion, is that once CA became involved, the goose was cooked. Using CA is generally no shortcut but a dead end except under the most carefully controlled, prior tested, conditions. Fear of CA is a healthy reaction.

Too bad. Should have touched it up with more finish. Quick and dirty didn't work in this case.
