Just got my new issue of the magazine. One of our own has a good article in there. Enjoy the read.

Very nice issue indeed. Pic's from Symposium too. That's Lance's guitar I'm holding in the pic of Sylvan and myself.

Captions would have been nice. Looks like a few of my pic's were published. Nice job on my ad too.

A very good issue. One article that I was surprised to find but really enjoyed was the article on Hand Disorders by Dr. David Lang. This was a very well written article with good pictures and drawings to illustrate points and is really useful info of which luthiers need to be aware.

I also think that Bill Moll's description of the new committees and who is heading them up is really a great sign of a New Era for ASIA. It should go a long way to show that ASIA is still a vital organization and that with the right people focusing on the rights issues that we can all receive greater benefits from being part of ASIA, which for a while some people were questioning.

From an OLF point of view it was great to see articles, photos and ads for many of our own...Thanks to all of the OLF'ers who contributed and thanks Jim for a great looking publication.

Rick Davis set a very high bar for publishing quality (which I really appreciate) and I am glad to see that you are keeping up that level of quality.

I also want to mention that it was great to see Craig Lavin's inlay on the cover. It was even better to see that he had a complete article on the inside. Kudos Craig.

Jim I hope you don't think I'm complaining. I'm not. I think the mag looks great. Love the format and was very happy to see articles written by fellow OLF members. Keep up the great work.

Thanks Jeff. I want to thank Brock for the great layout and John Kinnaird for being so gracious in letting me use a picture of his awesome sapele guitar.

I was needless to say very excited when I found out about that! I e-mailed you recently Don. Anythoughts about those ideas?
Thanks!
Craig
