I'm working through my first ever uke, a tenor of my own design. I have the body made and am ready to layout the neck and fretboard. I want to use the fretboard thickness to help tweak the string height at the bridge but am not 100% clear on what the action height at the 12th fret should be my goal (this is the first time I have done anything with nylon strings). I would also like to know what the typical bridge height and saddle height are for these little buggers. I have a slight angle built into the top like I would for a steel string; I think I'm where I need to be, but if I am going to need to cheat a little now is the time. . .

I set my action at 0.09" at the 12th fret. Thats kinda mid-high action for a tenor. It really depends on the player though...some strum hard and want high action, some finger pick and want lower. I try to leave about 3/16" saddle above the bridge so the action can be lowered easily.

Thanks Kevin, just the ku d of numbers I wanted. I start with an I between saddle height. This is getting donated so I don't know what the owner will prefer, better to give them some wiggle room.
