The best Adi I've ever gotten was from John Griffin. The mastergrade
stuff I got there...while quite expensive, was so incredible I was blown
away. It looked like englemann with the nice tight even grain and no
color at all.

nice looking set you have there too!

I'll second the John Griffin recommendation. I'm about half way through one with one of his tops. Absolutely white, even grain, and very stiff. I'm going back for more.

i have just been opening the last package of 50 tops which i got from him, and so far i'm impressed, the tap tone is very inviting!

Hesh,
Thanks for the kind words. It makes my job more enjoyable when I hear back from my customers.
Most luthiers don't understand the difficulties in finding, harvesting, and processing Red spruce logs. I'm hear to tell you that it's not easy.
Thanks again for your kind words.

Steve
