"Jenny Jones wins Britain's first-ever Winter Olympic medal on the snow with bronze in the women's snowboard slopestyle."

FIRST EVER MEDAL ON SNOW!? What are all these fake, inside ski slopes for then?

Torvill and Dean for Gold!

On a more serious note, I'm more than a little disappointed that Amy Williams won't be competing in the sledging (correct term?) this year! She wore that lycra well.

One down (I think we're out numbered here but) one to go. I hope I didn't just jinx us.

I watched them both. Wow! Yay us! Men's should be some killer hockey. I'm not hoping for that in the literal scene, but you never know with hockey. Even the Canada - US women have had a couple bench clearing brawls.

Should riding down a hill in a fiberglass cart be an olympic sport?

What about sweeping? I mean curling? I've got a garage carpet full of wood shavings if anyone on Team GB needs practice!

I'll have to disagree with you on the figure skaters. They are serious athletes... Maybe too girly for you...

My oldest daughter was a figure skater. She was also a kick boxer. Nothing girly about figure skating.

Figure skaters are skilled, tough athletes, but for me, the biased judging just sucks the life out of it. Same with amateur boxing.
