Not to distract from the recent thread on trim routers, but about the only negative with the Ridgid R2401 is the lack of an included bushing base. Although not too difficult to fabricate from scrap Lexan, we found a Woodhaven unit that takes standard bushings and can be had for the Bosch PR20, the Ridgid family of routers, the DeWalt small routers, and undrilled. About $24.

Quite handy for template routing or even inlay work where a bearing set is employed. Whiteside sells a centering kit for 1/4" collets which handles the chore of making sure the bushing is well centered.

Just ordered the R2401 router from Home Depot. They have it in a combo package, with a palm sander for $99, with free shipping.
