Brad,
It is interesting that you landed on the same approach I used a few years. Namely, the is space UNDER shelves is often not used. I used PVC, some of which hold the 65" long binding/purfling strips I just put tape over one end of the PVC pipe/tube to keep them from going out the one end. They are running along the shelf, parallel to the wall allowing for the long length.

Nothing is new, thats for sure. :) If you posted pics I’ve probably seen them. I trolled the archives quite a bit for ideas. I’m super glad to have this stuff up and out of the corner!

Finally got around to updating my storage for bindings, CF, brace woods and other long skinny stuff.

Late but done.

It wasn't cheap to do but it was what I wanted. Not only a huge improvement but a lot more stuff is in the same space previously occupied with cardboard mailing tubes of all sizes.
