I know this is a longshot but I’m looking for a National 12 string Tailpiece for my Stella type Guitars. They’re the only ones who make it and they’re back ordered for six months.

Good luck with that Brad. Maybe you could take up a new skill and make your own. :) https://fraulini.com/2009/02/12-string-tailpiece/

I know some people make their own and I am skilled enough in metal work to do it, but I would would rather do other things.

It's the same way I feel about making purfling and kerfed linings-LOL

When I built my Stella clone a few years ago I talked to Todd about how he made his, but I ended up buying one from NRP. The latest issue of Fretboard Journal has an article about Jack Tarlinton (Wandering Boy Guitars) and how he makes his.

Yes, I am familiar with both these guys and how they make them, but I am in such a groove with my building that I just don't what to go down that rabbit hole.....

I actually have an antique one, but I I don't want to use it on a spec guitar.

Next time I have an opportunity to buy them I am going to get several so I don't run into this problem again.
