| Post subject: | L R Braggs Anthem pre-amp clearance for soundhole braces |
Client wants me to transfer an Anthem system I fitted (some time ago) to a Sigma 000 to a new guitar I'm building for him, but I'm having difficulty getting info on the size of the slot for the soundhole brace it fits over, and it's spacing from the soundhole edge. I had to fit a spacer each side of the soundhole brace on the sigma, but neglected to note the info I need. Can anyone help out? Maybe photocopy one if you have it to hand and tell me the depth/width of the slot? Also, separate question - I have 1mm thick Self Adhesive Sticky 3M EVA PADS, will these be suitable for re-attaching the pre-amp and the microphone pick-up? |

Oh! A couple days too late. I moved one from a J45 to a HD28 on Friday for a fellow and could have taken measurements for you. But pickup, guitars and owner are now all on a plane headed somewhere. I have used 3m foam mounting tape where factory pads were unavailable and seen no failures so far. Have heard about failures using off-brand tape. |
