One of the “simplest “ aesthetic designs I have done and I love the way it came out! Lutz spruce top. Quarter sawn Sycamore back and sides Honduran mahogany neck. Ebony fretboard and bridge. 24.9 inch scale. Tortoise celluloid binding Matte nitro lacquer.        Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Very nice ! That white/black/white purfling some you bought or did you have to make it up somehow? It looks neat. |

Sycamore works good on a guitar. Interesting, but more low key. I used it on a couple of violins, and for linings. It bends, but doesn't snap easy. I had trouble breaking spruce on tight bends. The flecks are hard, and getting flat and smooth is more trouble than on some wood. Looks good. Simple isn't simple to pull off. |

The guitar is only a few days old and is opening up nicely, don't know how much the sycamore is contributing..... |

So I was building about 5 a year and now I am building about 10. The problem I have is selling them since I build at a faster rate then I can sell them. For example, at the moment I have 13 guitars for sale..... |
