Not torrefied, but Pacific Rim Tonewoods sells Lutz. I've never used it myself, so this is not a recommendation, just a lead. Greg |

Pacific Rim Tonewoods is great. They sell back and side sets a long with brace material as well. Great vendor |

well they list thermally modified (what I assume is) spruce so perhaps if you talked to them they'd be willing to send off some Lutz to be baked...that of course is making the assumption they source the wood, then grade it, then decide what they want treated, then ship it to the company that has the ability to do so...or maybe they even do it themselves...either way, you won't know until you contact them |

Does anyone know where Shane is nowadays ? He sold some of the best Lutz ever. Still have 10 of the Lutz i bought from him like 10 years ago now, Not torrified though. |
