I will be attending the Galloup School of Lutherie starting August 30th for the 8 week Journeyman Program. Any suggestions/recommendations from anyone that has attended that program??

Welp,

I have put my deposit down and I will be attending in March for the Master Luthiers course. With any luck a spot will open up for the October classes (fingers crossed).

I am super excited about this. I left the Telecom industry after 12yrs of mayhem and constant re-orgs, mergers, buy-outs, and out-sourcing. I can't wait. Putting together Parts-Caster Tele's is fun and all but I want to do it all.

Cheers!

Wow, didn't realize it had been so long since I posted in here. I completed Galloup School of Lutherie in Aug 2011. This year I am finally getting my shop set up and ready for repair and building. Getting all this done have been quite a challenge but Rench Guitar Werks is finally coming together!

That's awesome, Mike. Keep us posted on when your shop is up and running! What do you think your biggest take away was from your time at Galloup?
