Hello,

Here are some details about the bits and material I use with the Elevate Lutherie Dot Doctor product. I have tried a lot of different materials but these produce the best results for me.

The part numbers for each item are listed. I use a 3/32 Fuller brad point bit. The aluminum tube is from Amazon or you can order direct. The white dot material is 1/16” from StewMac. I repurposed an old zona saw by taking the blade out making it flush cut. It doesn’t take much life in the blade to cut the aluminum and plastic.

Hope that helps someone trying to do halo dots with this tool.

Brad

Dots look good, the metal ring is a nice touch.
