Hey, Phillip,
If you're still following your own thread, I'm curious about something: We know a chisel will be flattened on the back, at least for a short distance behind the cutting edge. Do you have a photo of a blade similar to this that has been flattened? I'm just curious to see how the damascus pattern looks after that procedure, and was not able to find an example on your website. And, if I am already looking at a flattened blade here, then the joke's on me! Either way, it's a beautiful piece of blade crafting.
